David began his study of Yoga in late 2001, looking for something that would help his golf game. He quickly fell in love with yoga and all that it did for his body. As his practice grew, the strengthening of his mind and his spirit also became visible to him and solidified his committment to yoga. In yoga he found a training regimen that not only got him in wonderful shape but one that also gave him peace of mind. In training a body to deal with challenging yoga postures thru breath, concentration and relaxation he found that in the rest of his life (15 years as a CIO/CTO for large companies) he was much better able to deal with stress and difficult situations (and his golf game got better).
In his teaching David seeks to challenge students to find new strengths and abilities, to find a joy where before there was stress, and to begin to find the deeper connections between body, mind and spirit. His joy is in seeing each student make one more step and discover one more thing.
