Alignment, Adjustment and Mantra Intensive Yoga Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn about the biomechanics of your body which will help to keep your joints safe for a long term, healthy yoga practice. You will learn to use alignment in your practice of yoga asana so that your energy, or prana, will flow uninterrupted throughout your body. You will also learn safe and effective posture adjustments that will help your students learn asana more intimately. The ancient art of mantra chanting, to open up the heart and lungs, will also be explored.
An excellent opportunity to explore the deeper, more subtle aspects of yoga.
The workshop will be lead by Yogi Amit. He has been practicing yoga since his childhood in the North of India. He completed his bachelor’s degree in science and his post graduate diploma in yoga from G.K. University, developing knowledge in both modern science and the ancient system of yoga. He has had the privilege of studying with some of India’s most noted teachers such as Swami Ram Dev, Shri Prashant S. Iyengar, Swami Rudra and he has studied at the Ashtanga Research Institute of Mysore, India with Sharath Rangaswamy, and several times at the Iyengar Institute in Pune, India. He has also studies with other western teachers such as David Swenson, Usha Devi which gives Yogi Amit a well rounded perspective of how yoga is being taught globally. He has been giving Workshops, Retreats &Teacher training courses across the globe.
